Grateful in 2024
November 27, 2024
As the season of gratitude arrives, I find myself reflecting on the countless reasons I am thankful to live and work in NoMad, a truly unique and vibrant neighborhood in New York City and to lead a community like ours at Kew Management. At the heart of this appreciation are the people who make this community extraordinary: our employees, our tenants, neighbors, and partners who share a commitment to making NoMad a place like no other.

First and foremost, to the Kew Management tenants in our buildings, thank you for your loyalty and your trust and for the contributions you bring to our community each day. Your dedication, creativity, and perseverance are the foundation of this thriving community. Whether by launching new ventures, preserving timeless traditions, or supporting one another, you embody the spirit that makes NoMad and our buildings in particular, a remarkable place to call home.
I am particularly grateful for the Kew Management employees, from our front and back office workers to our lobby and maintenance staff – you are all truly amazing.
I am also grateful to the NoMad Alliance for driving the neighborhood forward with visionary initiatives like NoMad Jazz, which celebrates the rich musical legacy of Tin Pan Alley. The Alliance has also brought us the gorgeous NoMad Magazine, where we celebrate the neighborhood’s rich history and exciting future.
To the Madison Square Park Conservancy, thank you for transforming our beloved park into a world-class oasis with breathtaking horticulture and inspiring public art, enriching the lives of all who pass through.
I extend deep gratitude to the Flatiron NoMad Partnership for keeping our streets not only clean and safe but also vibrant and engaging. Their installations, like The Portal—a live connection to Dublin—showcase the creative and innovative energy that defines NoMad.
As NoMad experiences a new Gilded Age, pulsing with culture, jazz, one-of-a-kind destinations, and countless places to dine, shop, and stay, I am reminded of the spirit of giving that defines this community. This December, the NoMad Alliance in partnership with Mercedes-Benz Manhattan, looks forward to the annual Toy Drive at Kew’s St. James and Townsend buildings, which will benefit the children at Mt. Sinai Hospital (Toy donations accepted in the lobbies of 1123 & 1133 Broadway, December 2nd to 13th).
To our tenants, neighbors, and all those who make up this incredible community: thank you for your trust, collaboration, and presence. Your contributions are what shapes NoMad into the extraordinary place it is today, and I feel fortunate to be part of this journey with you.
Truly, there is no place like NoMad and no community like Kew.
Wishing you, your families, and friends a season filled with warmth, connection, and countless reasons to be thankful.
With heartfelt gratitude,
